What you will be doing
As the Data Product Manager for revenue data, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of revenue data. This role requires a technical foundation, deep collaboration with stakeholders, and a strategic vision to ensure the integrity, consistency, and usability of revenue data.
Key responsibilities include:
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Tech, BI developers, marketing, accounting, and finance to design and optimize payment products that meet the diverse needs of revenue users.
System Adaptability: Ensure the system supports evolving billing and marketing needs.
Data Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of revenue data, APIs, and payment processing logic, including vendor fees and payment flow across stores.
Requirement Gathering: Partner with stakeholders to collect requirements, translate business and technical needs, and create detailed product specifications and documentation.
Revenue Accuracy: Ensure alignment between reported revenue and actual payments from different sources, enabling accurate reporting and actionable insights.
Revenue Management Initiatives: Lead key initiatives to improve payment efficiency and utilization better.
Testing and Monitoring: Define test criteria and monitor systems to maintain data quality and reliability.

Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable plans.
Skilled in creating clear, detailed documentation.
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Adaptable and comfortable navigating and managing changes in revenue data and logic.

Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical teams.
Technical Expertise:
Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with complex datasets.
Strong understanding of data processes, pipelines, and data modeling.
Familiarity with APIs and payment processing systems (advantageous).
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:
Proven track record of solving complex data problems and driving system improvements.
Experience leading efforts to correct data inaccuracies and manage large-scale data updates.
