Required EHS & Facility Leader
Job Description Summary
Responsible for enabling business strategy and performance by applying technology solutions to EHS processes and priorities, managing data structures and/or systems for the purpose of automation and decision making. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Job Description
Certified Safety Officer in Israel (valid certification required).
Minimum of 5 years experience leading EHS in an industrial environment.
Lead and manage the facility engineering team (1-2 technicians) and associated activities.
Oversee EHS programs and ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and standards.
Manage and lead technical/service bays operations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Coordinate employee EHS training, conduct compliance audits, maintain accurate EHS records, and ensure timely closure of regulatory findings (within 30 days). Develop and sustain systems to ensure continuous compliance with all permits.
Ensure effective implementation of EHS tools, programs, and management systems, and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation.
Promote and foster a strong EHS culture across all organizational levels by providing leadership and technical expertise. Support EHS teams, committees, and management in implementing best-in-class programs to achieve EHS objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all EHS programs.
Support environmental transformation initiatives, including execution of the sites carbon reduction roadmap.
Manage all on-site EHS activities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and procedures, including coordination with regulatory authorities.
Implement and maintain EHS programs, processes, and site-specific documentation.
Provide expert guidance on EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
Ensure EHS compliance through audits, equipment and process reviews, and regular site inspections.
Lead the sites injury and illness prevention programs, including incident and accident investigations, and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
Drive risk elimination and reduction initiatives across all site operations.
Requirements: Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, or closely related degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in successful EHS program implementation
High say/do ratio
Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment
Strong knowledge of Israel EHS related regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership, program and project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate using Hebrew and English

Advanced computer skills and reporting tools (knowledge in Gensuite is a plus)
Internal Auditor experience or certificate
1-2 years project management experience.
