We have an end-to-end automation infrastructure, which is developed by 2 teams
(Israel and India) which we would like to evolve to a world-class level infra.
We are looking for 4G/5G Automation team lead to lead this activity.
The Automation team lead responsibilities will include:
Build and manage a team of 6-8 TEST engineers:
Yearly and quarterly capacity planning and work plans
Growth plans for team members
Hands-on technical management
Budget planning
system design and architecture for end-to-end CICD
Review the code and design of the Automation Infra engineers
Collection and integration of requirements from the entire R D org
Definition of big building blocks and major enhancements
Help lead implementation of new/complicated/big modules/features in the most optimized and generic way
Requirements: At least 5+ years of practical experience in operating, analyzing, and debugging complex 4G/5G systems.
3+ years of experience in leading software teams, hiring software professionals and building a highly performing team
Experience in LTE 4G, 5G enodeB automation testing.
Strong knowledge in 5G and 4G air interface, call processing technologies, and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network.
Hands-on experience in LTE Access stratum protocols (MAC, RRC, RLC, and PDCP).
Experience with LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1-MME, S1-U, S6a, S11 S5/S8 Rx, NAS, S1-AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP-U, SGs-AP is desired.
Working experience in LTE Mobility, SON, OAM, performance, soak, and KPIs validation.
Understanding of 3GPP systems: Core and RAN networks.
Excellent Understanding of 3GPP standards.
