We are seeking a QA Manager to lead and build a dynamic QA team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality product versions on time. This role involves defining and implementing quality assurance processes, overseeing manual and automated testing, managing system-wide testing, and ensuring seamless operations in production environments. The QA Manager will also play a pivotal role in customer issue resolution and team mentoring.
Responsibilities
Quality Ownership: Act as the gatekeeper for approving the release of high-quality product versions.
Comprehensive Testing: Oversee system-wide testing, including manual, automated, device, and data-centric testing.
Quality Standards: Set a high standard for attention to detail, in-depth problem understanding, and delivering exceptional quality.
Team Leadership: Build, train, and professionally mentor the QA team, fostering expertise in system understanding, features, tools, methodologies, and error detection.
Work Planning: Collaborate with discipline managers and Product teams to align testing schedules with release timelines.
Process Implementation: Establish and implement robust quality assurance processes across all testing activities.
Production Operations: Ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting in production environments and work closely with customers to address and resolve issues effectively.
Team Recruitment: Lead the recruitment and onboarding of team members.
Requirements: At least 7 years of proven experience in leading a QA team, covering both manual and automated testing.
Strong focus on quality assurance, with a keen eye for technical details.
Hands-on experience testing cloud-based systems, including backend, web platforms, mobile devices, and complex data layers. Examples include multi-user systems, web systems with business logic, security layers, large databases, and communication components.
Expertise in working within complex automation environments and production settings.
Hands-on management style, with proficiency in backend testing across mobile, server, communication, and data layers.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot in production environments and collaborate directly with customers for issue resolution.
Experience in mentoring team members, guiding them in system understanding and QA methodologies.
Proficiency in implementing QA methodologies and work processes.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Energetic and sharp managerial approach with a track record of team development and leadership.
