We are actively seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager with a strong background in development to spearhead our Application and BI Infrastructure initiatives.
This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication with various internal and external infrastructure providers while overseeing critical aspects of our application cluster and BI services infrastructure.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our corporate DevOps team to maintain the central infrastructure while leading efforts to optimize performance, scalability, and resilience of our high-traffic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Cluster Management: Lead the oversight of our high-traffic application cluster, ensuring its optimal performance, scalability, and resilience to meet the demands of our user base.
BI Services Management: Supervise the infrastructure supporting our BI services, including but not limited to Kafka, Snowflake, and Clickhouse databases, ensuring their efficient operation and alignment with business objectives.
Deployment: Manage and coordinate regular deployments of application versions, ensuring smooth releases and minimal disruptions to end-users.
Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor the health and performance of our applications, utilizing various tools and techniques to anticipate and address issues before they impact user experience.
Version & A/B Testing: Oversee version management and A/B testing initiatives to continuously refine and improve our product offerings, driving enhanced user engagement and satisfaction.
Infrastructure Management: Take charge of managing and maintaining essential infrastructure services such as DNS, CDN, GitHub, and other relevant applications to support seamless operations.
Security & Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and policies, safeguarding the integrity of our applications and data assets.
Cross-team Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the product team and various infrastructure providers, facilitating effective communication and alignment to achieve overarching business objectives.

What will you Do?

You will tackle hard technical problems - some at the architecture level, some at the code level, some at the product level - and come up with solutions, balancing practicality and innovation, short and long term
You will be working with VueJS and TypeScript but react and angular is also an option, and more cutting edge tools from our tech stack. Legacy tech - not in our backyard.
Take part of all development aspects from design to production of a wide hybrid/cloud native product
Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of the product functionality
Work closely with other team members as well as mentoring new team members

As an R&D team lead you will have full ownership of core and critical services. You will be responsible for planning, tech design, implementing and rolling out to production the services of our Analytics engine.

In your day to day, you will tackle challenging scaling issues, you will brainstorm with super talented team members on how to support our overall hyper growth and system complexity. You will push code to production on a daily basis.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop core infrastructure modules and functional services, tackle large scale and load challenges, using Python, Node and SQL / columnar / document DBs.
Own a critical section of core product.
Manage 4 to 6 backend and full stack developers.
Perform POCs for new technology and design concepts.
Play a central role in building complex and large scale systems that powers platform
Measure, analyze and improve the performance, scalability and robustness of the product as well as processes
Take full ownership by carrying out tasks end-to-end, from design to deployment
Technically mentor and assist team members to excel at their job by executing code and design reviews, and technical guidance
Collaborate with Product, Analysts and Data Science teams in order to improve the products quality and deliver new features
