Required Strategic Account Manager
As a Strategic Account Manager you will responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with some of our most significant clients. You will be part of an over-achieving sales team that has established us as a dominant player in the database world.
Youll be involved in collaborations across departments and ensure seamless service delivery and the successful execution of account-specific initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for the major account, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Understand the clients business objectives and challenges to develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Work closely with internal teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Analyse account performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management.
Conduct regular business reviews with the major account to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
Act as a customer advocate within the company.
Proactively identify and address issues, providing innovative solutions to challenges that may arise in the course of managing the major account.
Requirements: Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years experience with enterprise technology in a fast-paced and competitive market with evidence of quota achievement.
MEDDIC or equivalent sales methodology training.
Superb relationship building skills and ability to demonstrate the value of the platform to customers and prospects.
SaaS selling experience, or demonstrable understanding of hyperscalers/as a service offerings.
Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player.
Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance individual, with ability to learn and become productive quickly.
Database or developer experience would be an advantage.
