Sr. Manager drives sales to obtain revenue and booking goals by working directly and through the account sales team to build pipelines and expand usage and business growth. Emphasis is placed on acting as a liaison/program manager working closely with R&D, Product Marketing, and Application Engineers to address and satisfy customer requirements. The Sr. Manager will create short- and long-term growth opportunities by building relationships with key executives and technical managers of existing, potential, and new customers. The qualified candidate should be proactive, aim high, lead a team, and help drive multi-million-dollar and complex technical sales campaigns.

Working in a team matrix environment with Global Account Directors, Sales Managers, TSSMs, PSSMs, Executive Account Managers, Applications Consultants, Corporate Applications Engineers, Marketing, and R&D to meet and exceed established objectives of the account team
Developing and directing complex technical sales plans, which may involve competitive displacements or creative business solutions to meet or exceed pre-established quotas and account initiatives
Driving and coordinating technical resources to support an understanding of the customers challenges and needs
Evaluating products, developing a solution proposal, and closing business with the customer through managing the complete sales opportunity and process
Developing long-term business opportunities by creating a close relationship with key decision-makers within the account base
Coordinating the preparation of written proposals and interfacing with internal organizations such as business units, legal, finance, and order processing to close business
Requirements: B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field required
Minimum 5 to 7 years of technical selling experience in EDA or semiconductor sales
A deep understanding of IC Implementation and knowledge of Verification flows and methodologies, together with knowledge of the complete sales process
Leadership skills to lead a team
Experience working with large customers doing complex SOCs helpful
