Developer Experience Product Manager (DX PM) is responsible for leading the strategy and roadmap of our companys customer-facing developer portal along with standardization and (where applicable) unification of APIs, MCP servers, SDKs, CLI tools, Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code frameworks and tooling across our company solutions empowering customers to deploy, integrate, automate and manage our company's Identity Security Platform through modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities (short):
Deliver a unified, frictionless, end-to-end developer experience for Identity Security Platform (ISP) deployment and management.
Position the developer (often DevOps engineers, automation engineers, and others) as a persona for our company products.
Act as the voice of the developer persona within our company product organization and create a community for developers.
Deliver an excellent experience for developers through usability, consistency, performance, and high-quality documentation of developer-oriented interfaces and required tools.
Ensure a cohesive experience across all automation methods and all our company solutions.
Key Responsibilities (full):
Define and execute the developer experience roadmap, prioritizing high-impact improvements to APIs, Terraforms, MCP servers, SDKs, CLI tools, and high-quality developer documentation - all focused on our developer persona.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineering teams, UX and technical writers across all solutions to standardize and enhance APIs, Terraforms, MCP servers and other tools, and ensure they are well-documented, easy to use, and scalable. Drive consistency, unification and governance.
Conduct primary research with developers, understand their pain points, gather requirements, and identify opportunities to improve experience, adoption and retention. Reflect results to the different solution teams on requirements that will impact the design and needs from their solutions.
Advocate for developers as our primary persona within our company product organization, ensuring that their needs are prioritized in product development efforts across all solutions. Serve as subject-matter expert for developers and share the knowledge with other PMs. Conduct training and consulting to PM, sales, and enablement teams.
Establish and track key developer-focused KPIs to measure product success and guide strategic decisions.
Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in developer experience.
Requirements: Proactive, highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a serious work ethic
3-5 years of experience in product management or other relevant experience
Experience with leading SaaS products a must
Hands-on experience in software development and/or devops a must
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, tools etc a must
Experience with leading a SaaS platform a serious advantage
Experience with AI technologies and data analysis
Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system
Experienced and knowledgeable in working with large global enterprises
Proven ability to succeed in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (mainly in English)
Pragmatic Marketing methodology knowledge & certification an advantage
Experience in information security an advantage
BSc in computer-science/engineering a must.
