For our computer vision team conducting cutting edge R&D for medical laser applications, we are looking for an experienced algorithms and AI engineer who will:
1. Lead independent research and development of solutions for skin analytics in the field of computer vision, machine learning and deep learning.
2. Implement algorithms in working platform prototypes.
3. Cooperate with clinicians, cross-functional R&D teams including physicists, software, system engineer and with professional subcontractors.
4. Support data management team.
5. Create and maintain documentation for image processing algorithms, code, and models.
Requirements: REQUIREMENTS
1. MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or similar, preferably in the field of machine learning/computer vision/DL.
2. 3+ years hands on R&D of computer vision algorithms, incl. both classical image processing and deep learning.
3. Strong coding skills: Python and open-source DL frameworks Tensorflow/PyTorch a must; MATLAB, C++, CUDA are strong advantages.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Able and willing to carry out independent research.
6. Can do attitude: mainly, able and willing to conduct research in a domain with challenging data (limited set, scarce and noisy).
An advantage:
Proven experience in medical imaging and medical product development strong advantage.
Experience in Real Time implementation on NVIDIA platforms (CUDA).
Experience in collaboration with academy and external sub-contractors.
Experience in electro-optics, image sensors hardware.
PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or similar from a known university.
